Campus Services

As a resident student, you have access to several services that are included in your room, board, and fees. We also provide additional information on services that may be of interest to you.

Student Health Center

Students have access to the Student Health Center. If living on campus, students must submit health paperwork and proof of insurance to the Student Health Center through the , which opens on May 13, 2024. This information is required and must be submitted for a student to be permitted to move into their campus housing assignment. Any questions can be directed to the Student Health Center at (570)-208-5852 or studenthealth@kings.edu.

Campus Mail

All students are assigned a four-digit mailbox with a unique combination to open the box. All mailboxes are in the student's residence hall. Students will receive an email from the Registrar's Office at the start of the second week of classes, detailing their unique 4-digit box number and combination. Once the student receives their mailbox number, they should provide that to friends and family to be added to the formal address. In the meantime, if a student needs to have a package sent to campus, please use the following address:

[Your Name]
Ƶ
133 North River Street
Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711

When packages arrive on campus, students will receive an email from the College's Post Office, notifying them that they have a package that needs to be claimed. Students will have to show their Ƶ ID card at the Post Office and sign for their package.

Phones, Computers, and Wi-Fi

There are emergency phones located on most residence hall floors in common areas for student use. 9-1-1 and local calls will work on these emergency phones.

All resident students can set up their own computer and connect to the Internet via the College's wireless network from their residence hall rooms.

Laundry and Linens

Laundry services are included as part of the student's room charges. Laundry facilities are found in the basements of Holy Cross Hall, Esseff Hall, Flood Hall, and Luksic Hall. Ryan and O'Hara Halls have laundry facilities on the second, third, and fourth floors. The Alley Center has laundry facilities on the sixth, seventh, and eighth floors. Students will be able to do laundry only in the building in which they reside. On campus laundry services are not available for use by commuter or off campus students.

Students will need to supply their own twin XL sheets, blankets, towels and any other necessary linens.

If you are interested in renting a microfridge unit instead of purchasing one on your own, Ƶ partners with a company called . Units ordered by August 1 will be delivered to a student's room prior to their arrival on campus and will be picked up after a student moves out in May. Renter's Insurance
